Intentional Retreats

Taking an intentional break from our everyday to pause, unplug and reset is so necessary. The retreats Leslie offers all hold this simple value at their center. Each retreat focuses on what we each need at one point or another in our lives. Selecting the one that meets your present need(s) is paramount. While each one offers you time to intentionally center yourself more fully, it also gives you some intentional practice within a brave community.

an intentional retreat with leslie | coming fall 2023

Come join us this fall for an intentional 3-day, 3-night retreat away from your normal routines. Spend some time reflecting, resting, restoring and renewing, while practicing self-care within a supportive community. Now is the time to plan and commit to this life-giving experience.

In this inaugural, public facing retreat, participants will be encouraged to move mindfully through a day of intentional awareness of self-needs within a loose schedule of group practices. This will involve a combination of guided meditation, creative visualization, and other individual and collective activities designed to promote an attitude of exploration and growth. By the end of the retreat, you will leave feeling rejuvenated, connected to your innermost self, and renewed in your commitment to the life you desire.

Imagine waking up to the sound of birds chirping, the sun rising, and the soft light of a new day. Take a deep breath and stretch, knowing that you have the whole day to move intentionally at a human pace. Throughout the day, you will be guided by a skilled and compassionate coach, who will help you to explore your own needs, access your inner wisdom, and create meaningful connections with those around you. You will be invited to move mindfully through a spacious schedule of group practices, such as meditation, journaling, and group discussions. You will be encouraged to take moments for yourself to reflect and be present with your own thoughts and feelings. You will be part of an intimate community of women, all working together to create an atmosphere of acceptance, growth, and support.

Retreat time is an opportunity to slow down, take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and to reconnect with yourself and the world around you.

It's time to be intentional about your self-care.

Retreat Participant 2022

I knew I needed this trip but didn't realize how much until I got there. The conversations and laughter were so healing. I got just the recharge and emotional releases that I needed to get back to my world. Thank you Leslie!

Retreat Participant 2022

I am so grateful for this space. We as Mothers absolutely need the time to give back to ourselves. This time away gave me an opportunity to reignite my own spirit as well as strengthen my connection with the sisters in community. If you are able to give yourself this grace to participate, please consider doing so.

Retreat Participant 2022

The atmosphere was safe and supportive in ways that were organic. The retreat was a time of restoration. I was nourished and healed and gained clarity on things I hadn’t even spoken. The synergy of community was in full effect during our time together.

Creating a sense of community ::
Building the container of trust for the retreat.

Building trust before the in-person retreat is essential for creating a safe space to explore and grow. We believe that trust is a key ingredient for the success of our retreats, and so we prioritize beginning this process before participants arrive.

We have several methods for building this trust and potential participants will learn about this during the initial information chat. Once individuals committed to attending, we offer monthly chats to get to know each other, a private Facebook group to share experiences and insights, and a one-on-one call with Leslie, our retreat facilitator, to answer any questions and help participants prepare for the time together.

Additionally, we offer pre-work of self-reflection and intention-setting to help participants get the most out of the retreat. These activities will help foster a sense of trust and connection amongst the participants before the retreat begins.
